Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3 will introduce new faces as the mega three-show crossover begins in September.

The franchise will feature new additions and shake-ups across the three shows: Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order: Organized Crime. So, are fans now excited for its upcoming release?

Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3 New Faces

Deadline reported Camilla Belle would join the series’ new season, together with Gus Halper.

The two would play the roles of a famed power couple in New York named Pearl Serrano and Teddy Silas.

However, it remains to be seen how these two’s characters will be introduced in the series.

The publication earlier revealed the coming of Rick Gonzales and Brent Antonello in Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 3 as NYPD detectives assigned to the Organized Crime unit.

Law & Order Three-Show Crossover Plotline

Meanwhile, Law & Order is about to make history when its three shows premiere in September.

According to TV Insider, NBC has officially announced that Law & Order, SVU, and Organized Crime will be crossing over for the first time since its airing.

Fans will see Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), and DA Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) working together on an important case.

A mysterious young girl will be seen shot in cold blood, so Detective Frank Cosgrove (Jeffrey Donovan) will team up with Detective Jalen Shaw (Mehcad Brooks) will investigate the matter and find the killer.

Benson and Stabler will be called in to help after realizing it’s more than a typical homicide case.

After finding key evidence, McCoy and ADA Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) will learn that they’re facing an international crime ring. However, complications arise and threaten the outcome of their case.

Talking about the Law & Order Historic Event

“Nothing demonstrates the power of the Law & Order brand more than an ambitious three-hour event with a story that is truly ripped from the headlines that start on Organized Crime, then migrates to SVU and finally the trial on Law & Order,” the franchise creator Dick Wolf said in a statement. “Rick and Gwen did an amazing job writing a compelling script, and I can’t think of a bigger and better way to launch the new season of Law & Order Thursday.”

“This unprecedented scheduling block is a tribute to all the Law & Order fans who’ve been watching this iconic brand for four decades on NBC,” NBCU Television, Streaming, Scripted Programming President Lisa Katz added. “We couldn’t be more excited to open our season with such a historic event.”

Law & Order and Organized Crime will be switching time slots for the historic crossover. It will begin with Organized Crime, followed by SVU, and will end with Law & Order.

There will also be no credits or title sequences for the second and third hours of the show.

The mega-crossover will begin on September 22 on NBC and will be streamed the next day on Peacock.
