Lauren Cohan Crashed The Walking Dead NYCC Panel To Announce Her Return In Season 10

Well, that didn't take too long. Lauren Cohan has just confirmed that she will be returning as Maggie Rhee on The Walking Dead Season 10. She also did it in the best way possible at the show's New York Comic-Con 2019 panel.

Cohan was initially not part of the cast who were in attendance at the panel. However, when a "Negan cosplayer" was invited onstage to take a photo with the cast, it was then revealed to be the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actress. Although people were just delighted to see Cohan reunited with the TWD cast, she also confirmed that she would be returning to the show in its upcoming tenth season.

There have always been hints at Maggie possibly returning to the series. After all, she had simply disappeared from Hilltop with Georgie, which could mean that she had found a new community and could be bringing some new friends back in the future. Not surprisingly, fans refused to believe that Maggie could simply be killed off that easily.

We're certainly glad to know that Maggie will continue to be a part of the show's ongoing storyline. Maggie has always been one of the strongest characters on The Walking Dead and Cohan's portrayal of Glenn Rhee's widow just got better with every season. We're hoping that Maggie's return will give the series a much-needed boost.

Although Cohan is confirmed for Season 10, that doesn't mean that The Walking Dead is taking things slow. The series has just been renewed for yet another season, which means that Maggie could continue to play a larger role in Season 11.

The Walking Dead Season 10 will premiere on AMC on October 6.
