Sony has released a new image from the Venom movie and it is quite the sight to behold. Fans who saw the most recent trailer, which has gotten mixed opinions, will recognize the image as the final scene in that video. However, it also gives us a great look Venom as we get to see his full body and the guy is massive.
Provided by Entertainment Weekly, we see Venom choking a poor mook while the cashier hopelessly watches. We know this won't be ending well if the gory sounds from the trailer are any indication but it does indicate a violently good time, which is something any Venom fan can ask for.

It's clear that the white veins around his body are meant to replace the iconic spider emblem on his chest and it works, at least for now. This is definitely a better alternative than having no design at all, as fans of Brian Bendis and Mark Bagley's Ultimate Spider-Man can attest to.
Even with some corny lines and odd decisions, things are looking up for the Venom movie. The horror aesthetic fits the character really well and the CGI is pretty impressive. Here is hoping that the final product, which comes out on October 5, lives up to all these expectations.
