Initially set for release back in April 2018, Josh Boone's The New Mutants is expected to make its way to theaters later this August. There are speculations that the film might not stick to its new release date once again, but the latest teaser shared is still promoting the said date.
The new teaser for New Mutants highlights the heroes' incredible superpowers, Sunspot being engulfed in flames, Cannonball gearing for liftoff, Wolfsbane's enhanced hearing, and Magik's arm equipped with a cool armor. Powers like these can't be contained indeed. You can check out the teaser below!
Fans have been waiting for a while for the horror-thriller film to make its debut and hopefully, and with the coronavirus pandemic prompting the majority of theaters to close, it remains unseen whether New Mutants will actually stick to its August release date.
Regardless, fans are holding out hope, and judging from what has been released so far, the wait will be worth it. One way or another, the film should finally arrive soon.
The latest update for the movie is the extended synopsis, confirming Magik's link to X-Men character, Colossus.
The New Mutants is currently set for release on August 28th.
