Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is coming out this June and Universal Pictures has decided to hype things up a bit more with a new teaser trailer. While only 30 seconds long, it does show off a number of cool set pieces and awesome dinosaur moments that will make anyone who grew up loving these monsters smile.
Chris Pratt checking on an unconscious T-Rex, only to find out that it's still alive and hungry is only one of the more frightening moments in the teaser. We do see Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard again, along with Jurassic Park veteran Jeff Goldblum, who is always a joy to see.
Speaking of Goldblum, some of the scenes seen here do look similar to The Lost World, the first Jurassic Park sequel that the actor starred in. Having dinosaurs roam around the city is similar to the climax of Lost World, which should make for some creepy and exciting moments.
When the island's dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who's still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.
Jurassic World hits theaters on June 22.
