Lance Reddick's passing was sudden and heartbreaking but there has been an outpour of support for the family he left behind. His wife Stephanie Reddick has shared a statement thanking Destiny players and fans who have supported them.
Stephanie Reddick took to her late husband's official Twitter account to share a statement.
"Lance was taken from us far too soon," the statement read. "Thank you for all your overwhelming love, support and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the last day. I see your messages and can't begin to express how grateful I am to have them."
The statement also thanked players of the video game Destiny, which features Lance Reddick as Commander Zavala.
"And to the thousands of Destiny players who played in special tribute to Lance, thank you. Lance loved you as much as he loved the game," it read. The statement concludes with information about where donations can be made in honor of the late actor.
"Donations may be made to momcares.org in Baltimore, his hometown," it concludes.
On March 17, it was revealed that Lance Reddick has passed away earlier that day. Although the cause of death was previously unannounced, it has since been reported that he had passed from natural causes.
