Lady Gaga Loves Bayonetta, Reveals That She's a 'Secret Gamer Girl'

For some reason, it's always cool when a hobby likes the same hobby that you do. Plenty of fans flocked over to Terry Crews when he revealed his love for Dungeons and Dragons, while comic book fans enjoyed seeing Stephen Colbert's love for Marvel and DC in his old Colbert Report. Now, fans of Bayonetta might feel elated over the fact that pop star Lady Gaga is currently enjoying the game.

On Twitter, Gaga not only revealed that she just cleared the fourth level of the first Bayonetta game but that she is also a "secret gamer girl." This obviously got the attention of many geeks, including Nintendo of America. While it's not clear if she's playing the Nintendo Switch version, it is the most recent version of that game so it wouldn't make much sense if she were playing it on a PS3, Xbox 360, or Wii U.

Bayonetta stars, well, Bayonetta, one of the most popular female characters in gaming today. Though some were initially turned off by her sexualized design, especially since her clothes are actually made of her hair, most people started accepting it since she wears this persona proudly and the game itself makes sure you know that she's in full control of her sexuality.

Fans now want to see Lady Gaga appear in the upcoming Bayonetta 3 somehow, maybe as a cameo or one of the game's supporting characters. Expect petitions to launch since Gaga is a pretty big deal right now, especially after her stellar performance in A Star is Born.

Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 can currently be purchased on the Nintendo Switch, sometimes as a double-pack.
