Following his introduction in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, fans have come to love Adam Driver's Kylo Ren as they learned and connected with him through the sequel trilogy. While Kylo was redeemed in The Rise of Skywalker, his turn to the light side was cut short after sacrificing his life to resurrect Rey. It's likely that Lucasfilm will stick with what has panned out in the film despite some fans being disappointed, but a new rumor suggests the studio plans to explore more stories with Ben Solo.

Taking to Twitter, Corey Van Dyke of Kessel Run Transmissions revealed that Lucasfilm is reportedly interested in further developing Ben Solo's character. It's unclear whether it'll be a film or a series but the scooper speculates that the project could be animated, considering that there's no word on Driver's involvement yet.

The scooper also notes that Lucasfilm is aware of Ben's popularity which is why they'd like to continue his story in some form. You can check out his tweets below!

Cinelinx's Jordan Maison adds fuel to the fire, replying to the tweet by seemingly teasing that the project is set before The Force Awakens. Exploring Ben's story before his turn is certainly exciting.

While The Rise of Kylo Ren comic book has depicted the character's journey to the dark side, from earning his name, fighting Luke's students, and the like, there's still plenty of room in that timeline to explore.

For now, this is just a rumor so fans should take this with a grain of salt, but more Ben Solo content wouldn't hurt, right?
