Kraven the Hunter First Look Confirms Rhino as Major Villain


There are only a few months to go before the premiere of Kraven the Hunter and some lucky fans just got a glimpse at the highly anticipated film at CinemaCon. Interestingly, the teaser screened at the event confirmed that Rhino will be one of the major villains in the comic book movie.

The first footage from Kraven the Hunter was screened at Las Vegas' CinemaCon which was attended by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. During the event, the Avengers: Age of Ultron star also confirmed that his upcoming film will get an R-rating, something that was further proved by the blood-soaked teaser.

Although the teaser has not yet been released online, GamesRadar reports that the footage features the transformation of one character who will eventually become Rhino. Although it wasn't confirmed whether the villain will be working with other baddies, it has since been revealed that Alessandro Nivola will play Rhino in the upcoming movie.

It's no surprise that Rhino has finally been confirmed to appear in Kraven the Hunter. After all, fans have been speculating about the villains that will appear in the Sony flick and the unique comic book character was a clear favorite. With that in mind, we're expecting a truly bloody film when the movie premieres this October.

In the meantime, Aaron Taylor-Johnson could be preparing for his next big role. Multiple reports suggest that he is being considered for the role of James Bond in the next 007 movie. With that in mind, we're expecting to see more of Taylor-Johnson even after the Sony movie drops later this year. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Kraven the Hunter is directed by J.C. Chandor and will also star Russell Crowe, Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Christopher Abbott, and Levi Miller. The film is currently scheduled for theatrical release on October 6, 2023.
