KPOP The Musical just added more K-pop stars to its cast members after welcoming f(x) Luna.

f(x) Luna first confirmed the news about her Broadway debut during a press conference at the Korean Cultural Center in New York City. She revealed that she would be making her Broadway debut through the upcoming play, KPOP The Musical.

Forbes and Parnes, the musical’s producers, expressed their excitement to introduce Luna and more K-pop superstars to Broadway audiences.

After delivering the news, the producers finally added more K-pop stars to the musical’s cast members, hyping fans even more.

KPOP The Musical Adds Kevin Woo, Min, & Kim Bohyung

On Monday, the KPOP The Musical’s producers revealed three more artists who would make their Broadway debuts.

Min (former member of Miss A), Kevin Woo (former member of U-KISS), and Kim Bohyung (former member of SPICA and KEEMBO), will reportedly join Luna on the list.

All K-pop artists would portray different roles in the first Broadway musical about Korean culture. It follows the story of several idols who become part of a one-night-only concert, but one singer suddenly becomes a threat to one of the K-pop industries’ most powerful labels.

It remains unknown how many K-pop artists would come to join the official cast list, but the producers already hinted about a huge production for the musical.

“The driving force of this production of KPOP has always been to fuse the vibrant, joyful, and wildly entertaining world of K-pop with the powerful storytelling of a Broadway musical. The result is something that no one has ever seen before on stage, complete with epic production values, catchy songs, passion, and heart,” Forbes and Parnes said, as quoted by Deadline.

KPOP The Musical previously had an off-Broadway show. For the new and first Broadway version, more musical actors and actresses joined to deliver the story about the Korean culture and the idols.

Other cast members include Kate Mina Lin, Aubie Merrylees, John Yi, Patrick Park, Julia Abueva, Will Brill, Major Curda, Jin Woo Jung, Ji Ho Kang, Joo Min Hwang, James Kho, Eddy Lee, Jully Lee, Amy Keum, Abraham Lim, and Timothy H. Lee.

Its preview performances will be presented on October 14 in the Square Theater in New York City, while its opening night will happen on November 20.
