As fans still eagerly await news on the third season, the KonoSuba: Fantastic Days mobile game revealed an exciting and unexpected collab with Haruhi Suzumiya.
On the game’s official Twitter account, a new teaser video featuring one of the most iconic anime characters was shared.
While there are not a lot of details about the collab yet, the teaser pretty much confirms that Haruhi and friends will arrive in the KonoSuba mobile game very soon.
This might be a collab that most fans did not expect, but it is far from the first crossover for the popular Fantastic Days game.
KonoSuba: Fantastic Days – No Stranger to Collabs
It’s fair to say that KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is one of the most popular isekai anime right now. This is thanks to its comedic take on the typical isekai premise.
Thanks to its popularity, KonoSuba has gotten multiple anime seasons, including a spinoff anime about Megumin that aired in the Spring 23 season.
Aside from anime, there have also been several KonoSuba video game adaptations.
Though perhaps the most successful and popular one is KonoSuba: Fantastic Days which was released in Japan back in 2020.
Over the past couple of years, Fantastic Days has gotten several collaborations, including titles like Re:Zero.
This is no surprise considering Re:Zero is also published by Kadokawa, not to mention that their creators are friends.
Meanwhile, other collabs include Mushoku Tensei, DanMachi, A Certain Scientific Railgun, and more.
Now, it looks like the game is gearing up for another major collab, and surprisingly, it’s not with an isekai anime.
Instead, it’s with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, the iconic anime of the 2000s.

Haruhi Suzumiya Is Coming to KonoSuba: Fantastic Days
This surprise collab was unveiled via a teaser video that featured characters from Haruhi Suzumiya who are joined by Kazuma and Aqua.
For starters, the video begins with Haruhi wielding a sword while wearing her signature school uniform.
Next, we see Mikuru Asahina with Kazuma, as well as Kyon with Aqua.

While the video does not go into detail about what to expect, based on previous collabs, we’ll likely get The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya characters in the game, and maybe even new story additions.
For now, there’s no word yet on a release date, but it was revealed that more info about the collab will be shared on July 27 via a live stream.
