KonoSuba Explosion Spinoff Releases NSFW Megumin and Yunyun Merch

While the original anime had some fanservice, the KonoSuba Explosion spinoff is going full NSFW with its new Megumin and Yunyun merch.

So far, the KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! spinoff hasn’t had much in the way of fanservice.

But for fans that want something that’s more R-rated, there’s a new line of merch that was shared recently.

Specifically, these merch are bonuses for the upcoming Blu-ray release of the anime spinoff.

While not all merch in the lineup are NSFW, some pieces definitely are.

KonoSuba Explosion Spinoff Blu-ray Bonuses

On the show’s official website, it was revealed that the KonoSuba spinoff will be released in three Blu-ray/DVD volumes, the first of which is set to release on July 26.

The other two will be released in August and September, respectively.

As a bonus for fans who purchase all three at certain retailers, special freebies will be given away. These range from canvas art to tapestries.

For starters, those who order all three volumes from the Kadokawa store will get a Yunyun canvas illustration.

Meanwhile, complete orders on gamers will come with a tapestry illustration featuring Megumin and Komekko.

For those who will order all volumes on Sofmap/Animega, an acrylic diorama of Megumin and Yunyun will be given away. Though some stores are excluded from this offer.

As for purchases of all volumes on Toranoana, a tapestry will be given away featuring an illustration of Yunyun and Arue.

This special promo is reminiscent of the offer for Tomo-chan Is a Girl! which also featured NSFW illustrations of the cast.

The first four freebies are safe to display anywhere, though these final two are decidedly NSFW.

For orders of all volumes on animate, a storage box for the three Blu-ray/DVD volumes will be given away, which features an NSFW illustration of Megumin in a bathtub along with Chomusuke.

Finally, purchases on Amazon Japan will come with another storage box, this time with a revealing illustration of Megumin and Yunyun in a water fight.

Much like other anime Blu-rays, these volumes and corresponding freebies will be released in Japan only.

However, it’s likely that a separate home video release will be made for the US market in the future.
