Kit Harrington Says "Jon Snow is Dead" in Game of Thrones

We saw Jon Snow get stabbed at the end of Game of Thrones Season 5, but there have been several reports that say Kit Harrington was seen on the set of Game of Thrones. They could be just flashback scenes, Bran Stark's glimpse to his brother's past, or perhaps he will somehow come back to life, but according to the Harrington, his character is really "dead".

Harrington sat down with the hosts of BBC Breakfast to discuss his upcoming stage role as Doctor Faustus, and he was asked if Jon Snow is really dead. Watch the video below:

KIT: All I can tell you is Jon Snow is dead. He died at the end of the last season. BILL: But his spirit lives on?KIT: Who knows? You'll have to wait and see. It's going to be a very excited season so I'm led to believe.For the last five years he's made his name playing the brooding hero Jon Snow in Game of Thrones. "All I can tell you is Jon Snow is dead," Harrington said. "He died at the end of the last season."

But does Snow's spirit live on?

"Who knows? You'll have to wait and see. It's going to be a very exciting season so I'm led to believe."

Game of Thrones Season 6 will return to HBO on April 24.
