King Charles Shock: Prince William’s Father Warned Not to Draw More Attention to Prince Harry’s Spare Ahead of His Coronation; Royals Should Do What Is Needed for Reconciliation, Expert Suggests

King Charles will be crowned the new King of Britain in three months. However, there are still discussions about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's potential attendance at the event.

King Charles, Royal Family Should Reconcile With Prince Harry, Meghan Markle?

There is a mixed opinion about the royal family's relationship with the Sussexes. Some were sad about the family drama, others sided with Prince Harry, and many wanted the royals to move o without the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

However, several reports also claimed that King Charles wants the royal couple at his coronation and has probably reached out to them already.

Royal historian Marlene Koenig urged the royal family to do what's needed to be done to sort out their issues with the Sussexes. She also warned them not to draw more attention to Prince Harry's controversial memoir Spare.

"I am unaware of any olive branches but I also believe that it is better for the King and his family to not draw further attention to what Harry wrote, and let the family do what is needed to be done for a possible reconnection," she told Express.

King Charles Reportedly Has A Weakness For Prince Harry

Prince Harry's royal biographer, Angela Levin, also weighed in on their relationship. The Harry: Biography of a Prince author believed that the new monarch would not give up on his son.

"King Charles is a monarch, but he's also a father," Levin told Us Weekly.

"He loves Harry. He might not like what he's doing, but he loves him and there's a weakness there for him. He doesn't want to lose him as a son."

Sussexes Overshadowing King Charles' Coronation Is Up To The Press?

When Koenig was asked if the Britons would accept the Sussexes warmly following their attacks against the royal family, the expert clarified that she could not predict it.

"I cannot predict what the reaction will be like in the UK in May," she said.

However, when it comes to the Sussexes overshadowing the King's coronation, Koenig said it depends on the press.

"I have not seen the Netflix series, I do not have Netflix, and if the programme or the book cast a shadow over the Coronation, it will be the fault of the press which continues to write about it."
