Kim Hye Yoon shared the thoughts that she had while playing the role of Yeo Jin Goo’s first love in the remake of the hit 2000 film, Ditto.
On April 9, Yeo Jin Goo and Kim Hye Yoon officially started reviewing the offers to star in the film, Ditto. The movie is based on the same movie of the same name about love and friendship between a man and a woman from different time periods.
They start to talk to each other through walkie-talkies.
After the filming started, the Extra-Ordinary You actress sat for an interview and shared her thoughts about her role.
Kim Hye Yoon Has Mixed Feelings While Portraying Han Sol’s Character
Kim Hye Yoon recently graced the pages of @star1 magazine and had an interview with them.
Among the projects she has received so far, Ditto and The Girl on a Bulldozer currently have her focus.
Elsewhere during the discussion, the actress opened up about playing the role of Han Sol, the first love of Yeo Jin Goo’s character, in the Ditto remake. The Hotel del Luna actor scored Yong’s role, a mechanical engineering student who started attending college in 1995.
She expressed her excitement when she got Han Sol’s role, but Kim Hye Yoon also faced mixed reactions while working with Yeo Jin Goo.
“Because it’s my first time taking on the image of someone’s first love, I’m nervous, excited, and looking forward to it,” she said.
All About Ditto Remake
Fans will understand Kim Hye Yoon’s statement once Ditto premieres.
Aside from Yeo Jin Goo, she also worked with Cho Yi Hyun, Na In Woo, and Bae In Hyuk. Director Seo Eun Young, who helped Confessions, served as the film’s director.
Fans expect it to be promising as the director previously won an award at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. The showrunner also got an invite to the Warsaw Film Festival under the category for new directors.
Currently, Ditto is yet to receive an expected release date.
