Kim Seon Ho constantly loses his brands and projects after his alleged ex-girlfriend revealed his dark secret.
Soon after Kim Seon Ho's issue emerged on Monday, his brands dropped him from their companies by removing ads featuring him. Domino's Pizza Korea immediately excluded him from all its ads and commercials before hints about Actor K's identity surfaced. This caused fans to assume that the ex-girlfriend was referring to the Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha actor.
Kim Seon Ho's other brands, Canon Korea and Food Bucket, also axed him and his name from their posts.
While more of his collaborators continue to drop him, 2 Days & 1 Night's viewers also started a petition to remove him from the show. Long before they hit their goal, the actor himself announced his exit.
Kim Seon Ho Leaves 2 Days & 1 Night Season 4
After remaining silent for days, the production team of 2 Days & 1 Night discussed Kim Seon Ho's future in the series.
On Wednesday, SpoTV News confirmed that the actor would no longer be part of the show after the airing of his final episode and thereafter. The news outlet disclosed that Kim Seon Ho himself also expressed his desire to leave the variety program. The remaining cast members of 2 Days & 1 Night – Yeon Jung Hoon, Moon Se Yoon, DinDin, Ravi, and Kim Jong Min – already knew about the massive change.
Kim Seon Ho was not the first cast member to ever leave the variety show due to controversy.
Before him, Jung Joon Young left the show after facing legal woes for allegedly filming and sharing NSFW footage of women in a group chat. During the investigation, authorities found out that the other 2 days & 1 Night members, Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Joon Ho, got involved in a golf gambling issue.
In 2013, Lee Soo Geun was charged with illegal gambling, which caused him to leave the show. Meanwhile, Kang Ho Dong and MC Mong also suffered from controversies due to tax evasion charges and intentionally delaying military enlistment, respectively.
Is Kim Seon Ho Still Part Of Salt Entertainment?
With his recent removals from several industries, a report also claimed that Salt Entertainment cut him off before the allegation came to the spotlight.
According to Dong-A Ilbo, Kim Seon Ho's contract with Salt Entertainment expired in September. However, the agency reportedly decided to extend it due to his participation in the tvN drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
Salt Entertainment has since denied the claims, telling Xport news that the rumors about the expired contract were groundless. The actor still has more months to spend before he can renew his contract.
Fans urged others not to feed themselves with false stories. Instead of pouring more fuel into the issue, they ask everyone to show sympathy as Kim Seon Ho and Salt Entertainment resolve the matter.
