Kim Seon Ho hit rock bottom in his career when his ex-girlfriend, Choi Young Ah, threw damaging accusations against him amid the success of his 2021 Kdrama series, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. The allegations caused him to lose most of his supposed projects and advertisement.
He has not starred in any TV series since his Netflix series with Shin Min Ah. But after a long wait, fans looking forward to his return received good news.

Kim Seon Ho In Talks To Appear in Haesi’s Shinru
JTBC confirmed in a news release on Wednesday that Kim Seon Ho might make his small screen return in the drama series, Haesi’s Shinru. An official from the entertainment network said the production company, Studio & New, had already entered the talks to allow the actor to review the offer.
Kim Seon Ho’s agency, Salt Entertainment, confirmed the discussion, adding that the artist is positively in the process of making his decision about whether he would appear in the drama series.
If he decided to accept the offer, he would play the lead role of crown prince Yi Hyang. It would serve as his first drama series after the successful stint of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha last year and his latest project after starring in Touching the Void and the film Sad Tropics.

The actor infamously lost his projects after his ex-girlfriend, Choi Young Ah, revealed that the actor urged her to abort their baby to save his blooming career.
The discussion might be a little tricky as Star 1 reported earlier this year that Kim Seon Ho wants to focus on Sad Tropics only.
"According to Kim Seon-ho's aide, he will not engage in any other acting activities except for the schedule for the movie [Sad Tropics], which is currently filming this year," the article said. "The same goes for the advertising industry. Kim Seon-ho's side is politely rejecting new advertising offers as well as renewing contracts with brands he is currently working as a model."
About Haesi’s Shinru
The upcoming historical drama, per Korea JoongAng Daily, is set during King Sejong’s reign from 1418 to 1950. Based on a web novel of the same name, Haesi’s Shinru explores the story of crown prince Yi Hyang who loves looking at the stars at night. He meets a mysterious girl who can see the future.
The novel’s author, Yoon Yi Su, will write the screenplay of the series.
