Ex-IZ*ONE Member Yabuki Nako Confirms Graduation from HKT48

Former IZ*ONE member Yabuki Nako will pursue her dreams outside her first girl group, Japanese idol group HKT48. After being part of the AKB48's sister group, she will finally graduate in spring 2023.

Yabuki Nako made it to HKT48 in 2013 following her successful auditions to the group's third generation. She officially made her debut at Kenkyuusei Stage Nounai Paradise in the same year.

She expanded her career when she joined Produce 48 and successfully debuted in the project girl group IZ*ONE.

After her fruitful journey as an idol in South Korea and Japan, Yabuki Nako will challenge herself by taking a step forward.

Yabuki Nako Is Leaving HKT48

Yabuki Nako joined the HKT48 11th Anniversary Concert at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, on Sunday, where she delivered good news and bad news to fans.

According to the idol, she will be part of HKT48's next single but clarified that it would be her last as her graduation will be held next year. Still, she will reportedly continue her activities until her graduation happens.

"We would also like to express our deep gratitude to all the fans who warmly watched and supported Yabuki Nako of HKT48, who joined HKT48 as a 3rd generation member in 2013, who also served as a member of AKB48 and was also active as a member of IZ*ONE. Please continue to support Yabuki Nako until the last day of her activities next spring," the statement reads.

Yabuki Nako's journey in Japan and South Korea was not easy. She frequently felt worried because of her height. But those faded away because of the love and support she received from South Korean fans.

Yabuki Nako To Work With Minhyun at 2022 AAA AFTER STAGE Gala Show

Before her graduation, Yabuki Nako will show off her hosting skills alongside former NU'EST member Minhyun.

The two have been tapped to co-host the gala show on December 14, a day after the 2022 Asia Artist Awards in Japan. K-pop idols are expected to attend the gala show.
