Kim Da Mi officially secured a contract with the United Artist Agency (UAA).
Kim Da Mi conquered international TV when she appeared in the SBS drama Our Beloved Summer alongside her The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion co-star, Choi Woo Shik. The hit drama aired its 16 episodes from Dec. 6 2021, to Jan. 25, 2022.
Months after it ended, the actress decided to expand her career by securing an exclusive contract with a new agency.
Kim Da Mi Signs With UAA
The meeting came after Kim Da Mi excited her previous agency, ANDMARQ.
Months after the buzz first emerged, it was disclosed that she officially joined UAA on August 1.
“We will be working together with the irreplaceable actress Kim Da Mi. We will do our best to support Kim Da Mi so that she can showcase her talents as an actress to the fullest,” a representative said.
Currently, the United Artist Agency homes the top actors and actresses in the industry, including Song Hye Kyo, Yoo Ah In, Ahn Eun Jin, and Kim Dae Myung.
Kim Da Mi Lands New Drama
After finalizing the deal, the actress scored a new role as Netflix revealed that she would star in a new film, The Great Flood, alongside Squid Game star Park Hae Soo.
The Great Flood is an upcoming disaster film exploring the last day on Earth after a great flood hits the planet. It also tells the story of the people who attempt to survive while inside an apartment.
Director Kim Byung Woo will helm the movie after creating its script.
It remains unknown when the release date will be, but it was clarified that it would only be available on Netflix.
