What Makes Kim Bum Different From Go Seung Tak

During an interview with Star News, Kim Bum opened up about his role candidly and compared himself to Go Seung Tak.

When asked about their biggest difference, Kim Bum started talking about MBTI and gave a straight but accurate comparison between them. According to the Boys Over Flowers actor, Go Seung Tak is an E type (extrovert) in MBTI, while he is more of an I type (introvert).

Despite that, they reportedly share similarities which helped him portray the role effortlessly.

Kim Bum shared further details about his onscreen romance with Apink’s Son Naeun, saying that the K-pop idol has the same MBTI type as him.

“We’re both INTJ. We have a lot of thoughts, but don’t often say them out loud, so that was something we could empathize with each other about. I treated her comfortably, but I’m not sure if she actually found me comfortable. I felt a bit disappointed that we couldn’t close out our characters’ relationship in the drama. They’re both shy, so they took all the way until the end to talk,” he went on.

Kim Bum Also Faced Struggles While Portraying the Role

In Ghost Doctor, Rain’s character occasionally possesses Go Seung Tak. With that, he has to copy and study Rain’s mannerisms to show Cha Young Min’s personality whenever he is inside Go Seung Tak.

Per Kim Bum, he always needs to walk with confidence when he does Cha Young Min’s movements. Because he has to do both Go Seung Tak and Cha Young Min’s roles, he thought he was playing two roles in one series.

Despite the challenges, he found it easy to adapt and cope with Rain’s help.
