Dark Tidings, the latest expansion of Keyforge, a fun deck game by Fantasy Flight Games, has caused some speculation lately. Originally, Dark Tidings was set for a February 2021 or early March 2021 release date but things got a little more complicated recently. So when will the game finally become available? We have gathered all you need to know about the release date, price, and preorder information of Dark Tidings.
For the uninitiated, Keyforge is a unique deck card game. Players assume the role of Archons in the world of Crucible. The purpose of the game is for the Archons to collect a material called AEmber and forge three keys – hence the title.
Keyforge Dark Tidings Release Date
Keyforge Dark Tidings, the fifth set of Keyforge to this day, was originally scheduled to be released on the 12th of March according to the Fantasy Flight Games company. Of course, the ongoing pandemic has influenced every aspect of our lives and pop culture is no exception. With people unable to travel and online orders reaching unprecedented levels, congestion is inevitable.
Because of this, there will, unfortunately, be no uniform release date. In some countries – not specified in the announcement – fans were able to receive their decks as initially planned. Elsewhere, they will have to wait longer.
The company hopes that all those who pre-ordered, wherever they might be around the world, will have received their deck by mid-April but there might be more significant delays. We'll update this space should any different announcement be made.
Keyforge Dark Tidings Preorder Information

Amazon and other major retailers also give you to option to preorder Keyforge Dark Tidings. Bear in mind that the estimated date of arrival they give is in May or June, so you might have to wait.

Keyforge Dark Tidings Price
There are three Keyforge Dark Tidings products you can buy. The big Dark Tidings 2-Player Starter Set contains two ready-to-play 36-card packs. It also includes everything needed for two players to start playing Keyforge, even if they haven't before! According to the company website, this costs $24.95.
Alternatively, you might want to consider buying the Dark Tidings Archon Deck or Deluxe Deck. The former comes at $9.95 and offers just a unique set of ready-to-play cards, while the latter, at $14.95, contains the cards and the tokens needed for a single player to get started with Keyforge.
