One of the major new characters to be arriving for the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be Shang-Chi in his very own film Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings wherein it is expected that the real Mandarin will also be revealed after the Mandarin was teased in Iron Man 3 who turns out to be a fake and just an actor.

Simu Liu, the actor who will be portraying Shang-Chi reacted to the delay of his MCU debut. Simu Liu tweeted that he knows that fans are excited but sometimes, schedules could be pushed back but when it happens, he says that it is going to be awesome. He also reminded everyone to get vaccinated so they could get to watch the films in theaters.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, everything was put to a halt. With the new variants and the rollout of the vaccine, there are still delays that are happening. WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier provides some solution to the ongoing drought but still, nothing beats a whole film.

There has been an MCU film drought since July 2019 and it has been so long since the fans were given an MCU film which makes people agitated, excited, and furious about the news of various delays of the releases of the MCU films. To reiterate, Marvel has no release in the whole of 2020. This gives the fans enough hunger for the return of the MCU, especially with their films.

Black Widow will be the first film to grace Phase 4 of the MCU and it will be released in theaters on July 9, 2021, taking up the schedule of Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings. Black Widow will be released the same day via Disney Plus Premier Access for an additional $30 on top of the monthly or yearly subscription.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings are slated for release on September 3, 2021, in theaters and possibly on Disney Plus Premier Access as well if Disney and Marvel wills for it to be released there.
