Kevin Feige Says There Are Going To Be New Types Of Heroes After Avengers 4

Avengers: Infinity War turned half of the universe into dust, and though many expect the remaining members of the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy to find a way to undo Thanos' finger-snapping massacre in Avengers 4, no one really knows what's going to happen after Marvel's two-part Avengers movie.

Now, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige gives the fanbase a little tease of the future to come, saying that Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe would include new types of heroes.

Speaking with Game Spot to help promote Marvel's last film of the year, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Feige decided to open up a little about the things to come in the MCU.

"Brand new heroes, new types of heroes, continuing what we see in Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Black Panther, and Captain Marvel," Feige told the publication. "Who a hero can be, and should be, and seeing all different types of heroes."

It isn't a surprise that Marvel would like to bring more heroes into the MCU after Avengers 4. Not only has the studio been thinking about bringing the Young Avengers, Kamala Khan, and other newer heroes to the big screen, but Marvel's also been building an entirely new Marvel Cosmic Universe together with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. We gotta say, the future of the MCU looks pretty great!

Ant-Man and the Wasp hits theatres July 6.
