Captain Marvel Trailer And Other Marketing Material Are Arriving In “A Few Months”

Avengers: Infinity War might have left fans rearing for Captain Marvel with a post-credits scene teasing the arrival of Brie Larson's Carol Danvers, but it looks like it might take a while for Marvel to really work on the marketing campaign of the movie.

Sure marvel might have aired some Captain Marvel footage at CineEurope, but according to Marvel Studios' head honcho, Kevin Feige, the trailer for the film won't be released until "a few months."

Speaking with ComicBook.com during a press event for Ant-Man and the Wasp, Feige told ComicBook.com that fans should be patient when it comes to the film's marketing campaign.

Sure, the film might be set to complete production within two weeks time, however Feige says that marketing still has "a few months on it" and that the marketing team is "still figuring it out." The Marvel Studios president however believes that fans pretty much have enough to get them going till Captain Marvel's marketing campaign really begins.

"You already know as much as you need to," Feige explained. "We've got Skrulls, we've got the Kree, it takes place in the 90s, you have Sam Jackson with two eyes and Carol Danvers, a unique telling of Carol Danvers origin story. We are about two weeks out from completion of principal photography."

Of course, it's pretty hard to blame the fanbase for being this excited to see Carol Danvers make her way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not only is Captain Marvel the first female-led superhero film in the MCU, but Marvel has also been underlining the significance of Captain Marvel's role in the future of the franchise. There's so much riding on Carol's debut and a lot of fans are wondering what role Carol will be playing in Avengers 4. Will Carol go against Thanos in a one-on-one battle? Let's wait and see.
