Kevin Feige On Whether He’ll Keep On Staying With Marvel Studios

Kevin Feige might have driven Marvel Cinematic Universe to success, but after 18 long years as the head of Marvel Studios, some have begun to wonder whether the producer might want to take his talents elsewhere to create something entirely new outside of Marvel.

Variety host Kris Tapley just recently spoke with Feige on the news outlet's Playback podcast, and during the discussion, the Marvel Studios President was asked whether or not he'd like to stay with Marvel or whether he has other plans after building the MCU.

While the Marvel producer does admit that he does get a bit antsy from time to time and that he likes to "jump around" and "move around," Feige still believes that the current incarnation of the company seems "pretty great for him."

Not only does Feige have great words for his position at Marvel Studios, but he also says that he's still satisfied working with Disney and with his team over at Marvel.

"The people I work with at Marvel Studios are great. The people I work for at the Walt Disney Studios are incredible and are the best mentors I've ever had in this business," Feige said during the interview. "Working at this studio at this time is pretty satisfying. And I like to make lots of different types of movies, and these characters as you've seen in 22 movies... provide a way to do lots of different films.

Marvel's still in the right hands. The MCU is growing stronger and stronger every year under the guidance of Feige and we're pretty sure that the Marvel Studios executive will stay where he is until he feels like it's time to let go of his work.

Right now Marvel is keeping a pretty tight lid on its line-up after Avengers: Endgame but announcements may come sometime next year.

Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas April 26, 2019.
