The Rise of Skywalker's debut is just around the corner and while the film will put the Skywalker Saga to a close, it will also introduce some new characters, one being Keri Russell's Zorii Bliss. Her character seems to be as badass as her costume and Star Wars fans can't wait to see her in the movie. That being said, is she open to keeping the mask and be included in more projects?
Speaking with ScreenRant, Russell shared some details on what fans would expect from Zorii Bliss in Episode IX. At one point in the interview, the actress was asked if she is ever up to reprise her role, either on Disney+ or a video game of some sort. To which she responded, "Totally."
"In these giant movies, there's always a little bit more written and a little more shot that what ends up in the cut, because it's just so epic," Russell added. She said that there are "so many things to solve," all the while aiming for satisfying the audience with the story "because it's the end of this huge thing."
She also revealed that there are "more details involved" in the story that can be "embellished." In my opinion, it seems like the actress is hinting that there's more to the story than what will unfold in Episode IX. And since Zorii is a very mysterious character and was only introduced in the last chapter, it is possible that there are more stories to be told surrounding her as well. After all, the Star Wars universe is vast, and The Rise of Skywalker can't cover everything about the characters, the same goes for newcomer Naomi Ackie's Jannah as well.
For now, there isn't anything planned for the character yet, but you can look out for Zorii Bliss in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when it hits theaters on December 20.
