The Life and Career of Kenan Thompson
The 44-year-old started his career in the early 1990s. He is one of the original cast members of the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series All That.
As the often collaborator of his co-star Kel Mitchell, the two had their own sitcom, Kenan & Kel. From there, he appeared in The Mighty Duck franchise, Good Burger, and led the 2004 movie, Fat Albert.

The comedian has been part of SNL since 2003, making him the longest-tenured cast member in the show’s history. He has been part of the show for more than 20 seasons.
He, too, was the first regular cast member born after the show premiered in 1975. He also starred in the NBC sitcom Kenan.

For the first-year cast members, SNL hosts received $7,000 per episode, which increased to $8,000 per episode for the second-year cast members.

After Thompson parodied Yellowstone, he began his opening monologue and referred to the nominated shows, like Stranger Things, The Batman, Jurassic World Dominion, and Nope.
"Man, how dark can Batman get? If he gets any darker, he's going to be Wesley Snipes!" he said about Robert Pattinson’s The Batman, per E! News.

He then gave a shoutout to the “60-year-old” man who did his own stunts in Top Gun: Maverick, referring to Tom Cruise.
Thompson also supported the big 2022 People's Champion winner Lizzo.
"Lizzo is our People's Champion tonight. Indeed, Lizzo, you showed the world that anybody can play the flute while they are twerking in a thong if they really want to,” he quipped. “I've got to say, looking forward to seeing that from Dwyane Wade tonight."
