The now-29-year-old debuted in the 2004 movie Barbershop 2: Back in Business. She was later seen on The Wool Cap, while she received her breakthrough in the drama movie Akeelah and the Bee.
From there, she dropped her debut studio album, So Uncook. She continued to be a child actor with her roles in Madea’s Family Reunion, Jump In! The Longshots and Shrink.
Palmer also became a part of Nickelodeon, appeared on True Jackson VP, voiced the role of Aisha in Winx Club, and headlined the TV film Rags.

Keke Palmer will Soon be a Mom
Palmer officially announced she’s pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Darius Jackson.
"There's some rumors going around,” she started, per People. “People have been in my comments saying, 'Keke's having a baby, Keke's pregnant,' and I wanna set the record straight — I am!"
She then ripped her long jacket open to reveal her growing baby bump.

"I gotta say, though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you y'all, but it's even worse when they're correct. I mean, like, I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low cause I got a lot of stuff going on, you know?" she continued. "... But honestly, this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited. Guys, I'm going to be a mom."
Palmer has mainly kept her relationship with Jackson private. Though she made their romance Instagram official last year, she deleted most of their photos together.
