The fifth episode of Kemono Jihen that came out last Sunday the 7th of February introduced Kabane and the other children to Mihai, a bored vampire secretly living in a room in their house. His presence provides comic relief, but there are sinister undertones as well, as it looks like his entertainment is more of interest to him than the children's safety.

Kemono Jihen Anime: What is it about?
Kemono Jihen is a supernatural shōnen anime following Inugami, a detective specializing in the occult, who visits a Japanese village to rid it of the presumably supernatural threat that kills and mutilates animals.
There, he meets a young boy named Kabane, most commonly known as "Dorotabo" a Japanese slur to indicate his bad body odor. Because of this, the boy is shunned by his community. Realizing there's something paranormal about the boy, Inugami – a supernatural being himself – takes Kabane to Tokyo where he's the head of an agency that solves issues arising between kemono – part human, part animal entities – and humans.
Kemono Jihen Anime Episode 6 Release Date
Kemono Jihen airs weekly every Sunday, with Episode 5 having been released just three days ago for premium Funimation users. Episode 6 is scheduled to be released next Sunday, the 14th of February.
If you're using Funimation for free, the fifth episode will become available to you on that day, but you will have to wait until the 21st of February to watch Episode 6.

The best way to watch Kemono Jihen is Funimation. Premium users can watch the episodes as they come out, while non-premium users have to wait an extra week. Currently, the anime is only available with English subtitles, but there's a good chance it will get an English Dub in the future as Funimation is known for its simuldubs. AnimeLab is also an option, but only for New Zealand and Australia.
