Kelly Ripa expects nothing will change between her, her husband, Mark Consuelos, and Ryan Seacrest as the latter leaves Live with Ryan and Kelly in April. The three got real about the American Idol host's exit in an interview at the 2023 Oscars at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles Sunday, March 12.

Kelly Ripa Expects Nothing Will Change as Ryan Seacrest Leaves Live

"We keep saying nothing will really change between the three of us," the All My Children alum said via E! News. "It's just Ryan will get to have his coffee later."

Seacrest, alternatively, told Vanessa Hudgens during ABC's red carpet show that his exit was "bittersweet."

"We have such a great relationship and friendship and working relationship," he stated.

He then revealed Consuelos would be taking his seat.

"Mark is going to take over," the 48-year-old added. "And he and I have the same kind of relationship. So it's going to be an exciting last few weeks. And a lot to come."

Consuelos then chimed in, telling Seacrest that he's "not done yet." "I'm not done yet," the produced agreed.

Ryan Seacrest Announced Live Exit

Back in February, Seacrest announced his exit from Live after about six years after joining the show in 2017.

He admitted making that decision was "tough, tough" but still "bittersweet."

"Working alongside Kelly over the past six years has been a dream job and one of the highlights of my career," he said in an official statement via People. "She has been an amazing partner, friend, and confidant, and although we will always be a part of each other's lives, I will miss our mornings together."

From there, the famous duo announced Consuelos would replace Seacrest on the show.

Consuelos and Ripa have been married for 27 years, and he has been guest hosting on the talk show with his wife.

With Seacrest's exit, the series will have a new title, Live with Kelly and Mark.
