Keanu Reeves Set to Return Despite Shocking John Wick 4 Conclusion

If you were one of the millions of fans who went out to watch John Wick: Chapter 4 over the weekend, there is a huge chance you're wondering if this is the final installment of the wildly successful film series. However, it looks like we haven't seen the last of Jardani Jovanovich as Keanu Reeves is expected to continue playing the assassin in the movie franchise.

In John Wick 4, John is fatally injured by Caine but he still manages to kill the Marquis Vincent de Gramont. After the Harbinger declares John and Caine free of debt from the High Table, John reflects on his life and succumbs to his wounds. He is later buried beside his wife Helen.

So does this mean it is the end of John Wick? The character might be dead but Lionsgate is far from done with him. Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chair Joe Drake confirmed with Deadline that the studio plans to continue bringing Keanu Reeves back in the franchise's future projects.

"We're not ready to say goodbye to Keanu with this franchise," Drake said. "It's what alternative there will be."

He continued by pointing out that there are various ways to keep John Wick alive.

“There’s a lot of different things that we can do,” Drake said.

“I’ve seen this movie five times in the last week,” he added. “I can see the way that the audience moves him.”

We totally understand why Drake isn't eager to let Keanu Reeves go just yet. The John Wick films have been wildly successful and the fourth movie has been the most profitable one to date.

For now, it has not yet been confirmed whether there will be a fifth movie. Keanu Reeves is expected to reprise his role in the spin-off project Ballerina starring Ana de Armas. In the meantime, John Wick: Chapter 4 is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
