Now that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has been released in theaters, the next big Star Wars film we're looking forward to see is next year's Star Wars: Episode VIII, but don't expect Lucasfilm and Disney to launch the first trailer right away.
The BBC's Lizo Mzimba recently caught up with Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy at a recent event and asked when the trailer for Star Wars: Episode VIII will be unveiled. "Well, pretty soon," she said. "We're giving [Rogue One] a little bit of breathing room, and then probably heading into spring, you'll start to see things."
Directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: Episode VIII is set to release in U.S. theaters on December 15, 2017.
