13 Reasons Why Star Katherine Langford Reportedly Joining the MCU Again

Katherine Langford was supposed to make an appearance as an older Morgan Stark in Avengers: Endgame. However, her scene was eventually cut in the final version although you can still see her deleted scene in the home video release. Years after her supposed MCU debut, it looks like the 13 Reasons Why star might make her official appearance in the franchise soon.

According to ScreenGeek, Langford is in talks to join an upcoming MCU project. However, they didn't give any more details on whether she will be playing the older Morgan Stark or if she will play an entirely different character which is a possibility since she only showed up in the deleted scene, which isn't considered to be part of the MCU canon.

Langford is known for playing Hannah Baker in the first two seasons of 13 Reasons Why as well as starred in the short-lived Netflix series Cursed. She also starred in films such as Love, Simon, Knives Out, and Spontaneous. Despite being cast in Avengers: Endgame, her appearance was cut as the audience at the test screenings found her scene to be "confusing."

We do have to take note that this news didn't come for the major trades nor was officially announced by Marvel themselves so we have to take it with a grain of salt. However, the outlet has reported several accurate exclusive news in the past so there is a reason to believe that the information might be true.

It is exciting to hear the possibility of Langford making her official debut in the MCU soon since she is a talented actress. It is curious to see whether she will play an older Morgan Stark (which might not make sense timeline-wise) or play a new character which might be a better direction so that she can have a moment to shine with the new role that they will give to her.
