According to Us Weekly, Kate Middleton and Prince William are reeling at Prince Harry because of the bombshells that he dropped about them in his memoir. The Duke of Sussex’s revelations even went as far as involving his niece, Princess Charlotte.
“It’s hit them very hard. They’re both confiding in each other right now. [They would have rather] handled these issues behind closed doors and wished Harry wasn’t so public and cutting with his accusations about the royal family,” a source said.

Princess Charlotte Cried After Trying On Her Bridesmaid Dress?
This week, Prince Harry detailed what really happened between Middleton and Meghan Markle ahead of their royal wedding in 2018. According to the text exchanges between the in-laws, Middleton was not happy with how Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress looked on her.
In fact, the Princess of Wales also told Markle that Princess Charlotte cried when she tried on her dress at home.
“Charlotte’s dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on a home,” Middleton wrote to Markle (via Page Six).
Markle replied by asking Middleton if it was OK for her to bring Charlotte to Kensington Palace so that her dress could be resized. However, Prince William’s wife seemingly refused.
“Right, and I told you the tailor has been standing by since 8 a.m. Here. At KP. Can you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other mums are doing?” Markle texted Middleton.
However, Middleton reportedly demanded that all bridesmaid dresses are remade, and she even consulted with her personal wedding dress designer.
After reading her suggestion, Markle told Middleton that she was under a lot of stress, especially because of her falling out with Thomas Markle Sr. Markle asked her sister-in-law if she was aware of what was happening, and Middleton reportedly said yes.
“Meg asked if Kate was aware of what was going on right now. With her father. Kate said she was well aware, but the dresses were. And the wedding is in four days!” Prince Harry said.
“Yes, Kate, I know….,” Markle reportedly replied.
Prince Harry Claims He Was Asked About His Place In The Line Of Succession After Princess Charlotte’s Birth?
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte was once again dragged into her uncle’s memoir after Prince Harry detailed the one question a journalist asked him after his niece was born.
Prince Harry was on tour at the time, and he was asked to comment on the then-youngest royal’s arrival. Prince Harry said that he was thrilled over Princess Charlotte’s birth.
The reporter then asked Prince Harry to comment on the fact that he was no longer fourth in line for the throne. And the dad of two revealed that he was taken aback by the question.
“A journalist questioned me about it as though I’d received a terminal diagnosis. I thought: First of all, it’s a good thing to be farther from the center of a volcano. Second, what kind of monster would think of himself and his place in the line of succession at such a time, rather than welcoming a new life into the world?” he said (via Us Weekly).
