Kate Middleton and Prince William are the head of The Royal Foundation. The charity was originally started by the royal siblings, Prince William and Prince Harry. Their wives, Middleton and Meghan Markle, joined later as patrons.

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to have a separate household from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, they also decided to leave the charity and start their own. Prince Harry and Markle are the founders of the Archewell foundation.

Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their departure from the royal family, they announced their interest in having a separate household. The couple also announced that they would be leaving the Royal Foundation.

Prince William and Middleton have continued with their royal duties despite the dramas plaguing the royal family and it seemed to work. Just recently, the couple made attendance at the COP26 summit on climate change in Glasgow, Scotland. Before that, the future king handed out a £1million reward to five winners with outstanding works on mitigating the adverse effects of climate change on the planet.

The future king and queen's numerous appearances proved to be helpful. According to Daniela Elser, a royal commentator, the Cambridges' The Royal Foundation funding has nearly doubled after Prince Harryfunding and Markle left.

Initially, it raised £6.68million, but the figure "skyrocketed and nearly doubled" to £11.78million in just a year.

"[It is] staggering given that other major British charities faced significant downturns in their fundraising during the pandemic," Elser said per Express.

Queen Elizabeth Snubbed Prince Harry At COP26 Climate Change Remarks

Queen Elizabeth II has been advised to rest for weeks, so she skipped the COP26 Climate Change conference. She was still part of the event and even made a virtual appearance by delivering a speech.

However, many felt that she snubbed the Duke of Sussex when she didn't mention him in her remarks.

Some royal fans defended the Queen and said she didn't snub Prince Harry. The Duke of Sussex was not part of the event, so it wasn't necessary to bring him up in her speech.
