Prince William was spotted on camera joking about photographers battling it out for pictures during his and Kate Middleton's visit to Mayan ruins at Caracol in Belize. With the shutterbugs in front and behind as the Cambridge couple took in the view from the top of a ruin, the brother of Prince Harry was heard joking:

"One side's getting cross with the other side. You're in each other's photos."

Kate Middleton and Prince William were touring the ancient site and even checked in on the so-called Caana or sky palace, which is said to be the tallest man-made structure in Belize. While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are seemingly enjoying their trip, the current tour started in controversial circumstances with opposition from villagers in Belize who raised a myriad of issues, which include objections to the couple's helicopter landing site.

Because of that, Kate Middleton and Prince William were forced to cancel a trip to a farm and, instead, visited a chocolate producer before the royal couple traveled to the cultural center of the Garifuna community in Hopkins. The Caribbean tour of the Cambridge pair faces further protests with Jamaican campaigners accusing Queen Elizabeth and her predecessors of perpetuating slavery.

As a matter of fact, a coalition of Jamaican business leaders, politicians, musicians, and doctors penned an open letter and urged the British monarchy to pay slavery reparations. Part of the letter read:

"We note with great concern your visit to our country Jamaica, during a period when we are still in the throes of a global pandemic and bracing for the full impact of another global crisis associated with the Russian/Ukraine war."

It furthered:

"We see no reason to celebrate 70 years of the ascension of your grandmother to the British throne because her leadership, and that of her predecessors, has perpetuated the greatest human rights tragedy in the history of humankind."

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton caught the eyes of many as she boarded their flight from Belize to Jamaica on Tuesday. The mom of three and Prince William would continue their royal tour in Jamaica after spending a number of days in Belize.

Kate Middleton and Prince William are said to spend a week in Jamaica before going to their last stop -- the Bahamas. The latest photos of the royal couple featured the duchess wearing an orange-colored top, which she paired with all-white pants, bag, and shoes. Prince William, for his part, sported a blue-colored blazer and apricot-colored pants.

Prior to that, Kate Middleton also stole the show at a special reception in Belize when she wore a pink shimmering gown created by British designer The Vampire's Wife. The Duchess of Cambridge completed her ensemble with a shiny pair of silver sandals as she arrived with Prince William, who donned a navy blazer.
