Kate Middleton has followed the Queen's mantra to "never complain, never explain." However, new reports suggested that she may have changed her mind as rumors are rife that she's doing her first TV interview multiple TV networks approached her.

Kate Middleton To Open Up About Life, Different Relationship With Prince Harry, Meghan Markle?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have done numerous interviews in the past. One of their biggest tell-alls was their explosive sit-down with Oprah Winfrey for CBS.

The 40-year-old Duchess of Cambridge may follow the Sussexes if reports are true. Insiders told New Idea that the producers want Middleton to talk about motherhood and life as the wife of a future king. She might also address her complex relationship with her brother Prince Harry and sister-in-law Meghan Markle.

"Kate is not a natural public speaker, and she used to be overcome by nerves in interviews," an anonymous source told the outlet. "But she's come through a lot in the past few years and she's stronger, more confident, and ready to have a voice of her own. William, who was never a big fan of his late granny's 'never complain, never explain' ethos, is fully supportive of Kate."

Royal expert Phil Dampier told New Idea that he wasn't aware of the rumored interview. But he felt that the new Princess of Wales "must feel like screaming from the rooftops about what she really thinks."

"She must be tempted to do a no-holds-barred interview," he said. "It's a big if, but if Kate did do a sit-down chat, she'd want to defend herself and her family".

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Won't Like Kate Middleton Speaking Up?

Dampier weighed in on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's possible reaction to Kate Middleton's tell-all. For him, Prince Harry and Markle, who had a bombshell interview with Winfrey last year, would not like Prince William's wife doing an interview for a reason — because she could tell another version of their story.

"I'm sure Harry and Meghan would fear Kate speaking out because she could directly refute some of their claims," says Phil. "But Kate wouldn't want it to turn into a slanging match."

The royal expert added that Middleton coming forward could be to "stop Meghan in her tracks." There are speculations that the former actress wanted to overshadow the future queen consort.

"She seems determined to outshine Kate ... recently releasing new portraits in competition with her," says our source. "This interview would certainly eclipse any ratings Meghan generated. Everyone wants to know Kate's side of the story."
