Chapter 234 finally lets us see a proper discussion between Kobachi and Miko. It took some time and much persuading from their mutual friends and classmates, with Kobachi even having a word with Ishigami, her unreciprocated crush.
Eventually, the two girls decide to talk about their differences, in a way that feels very honest, believable, and human. Kobachi and Miko have been hanging out together since very young, but they think that under different circumstances, they might not have been friends at all. Rather, they just happened to sit together at school and decided to stick together as none of the two had any other friends.
The girls might not be best friends like Kaguya and Chika, for instance, but they show that they do care about each other, and understand each other better than anyone. When Miko claims that she'll even give up on Ishigami if Kobachi wants her to, the latter understands that Miko doesn't really want to do that; but she also understands she means it.
The girls eventually decide to make up, understanding that, even if they naturally drift apart after graduation, their friendship and memories and together are precious to them.
Kaguya-Sama: Love is War Chapter 235 Release Date
Kaguya-sama: Love is War Chapter 234 was scheduled to be released a week ago but took a week-long break. At the time of writing, we expect Chapter 235 to be released next Friday, the 27th of August, or Thursday the 26th, depending on your timezone.
