Justice League: ‘The 5’ Come Together in New Image from Zack Snyder

While we haven't gotten any official update on the Snyder Cut of Justice League, the director himself has been encouraging everyone to keep bothering WB for it. Snyder will also occasionally share images from his cut of the movie, and we have a new one featuring ‘The 5'.

Check it out:

We don't know what scene this is exactly, but it's probably the one where Cyborg shows everyone the backstory of Steppenwolf and his war with the Atlanteans, Amazons, and humans. Cyborg was said to have a hologram projection—since his powers come from a Mother Box—but the final movie had Wonder Woman telling the story instead.

With the caption of ‘The 5', I'm sure some people are wondering who ‘The Seven' were supposed to be when we got the ‘Unite the Seven' tagline with our first look at Jason Momoa's Aquaman. Rumors have been coming out that a Green Lantern was supposed to appear, but there were also plans to reveal that Man of Steel's general Swanwick was supposed to be J'onn J'onzz. Would J'onn have joined the League by the end? I guess we'll just have to wait and see to find out.

With platforms opting for digital releases now, a lot of people are begging even harder for WB to release the Snyder Cut on digital. Some think it would be a great HBO Max exclusive, but for now, it seems that the studio isn't budging. Then again, we are in the midst of a crisis, so maybe the 3-year-old demands of a fanbase are the least of their problems right now.
