Jurassic World Sequel May Tie Up With Original Jurassic Park

It looks like the Jurassic Park franchise will follow in the footsteps of Ridley Scott's Alien franchise. A full circle may be in the pipeline as future movies work their way back to the original movie. Or at least in this case, it will have hints and shout-outs to the classic movie from 1993.

In an interview with Larry King Now, seen below, James Cromwell reveals a new key relationship that his character will play in the Jurassic World sequel.

"The character Richard Attenborough played, I'm his partner, Benjamin Lockwood. We developed the technology of being able to clone the genes, and so I'm trying to deal with the blow back from what we have done."

What's interesting here is that he may appear to partly atone for what he has done before, so we may see some team siding when he sequel rolls around. We might be heading towards a darker-toned Jurassic World sequel, now more than ever.

This bit of news comes at an opportune time, following confirmation that Jeff Goldblum, who was part of the original cast, will be returning in the sequel.

Jurassic World's sequel will be the fifth film following the original movie. It stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, B.D. Wong, and Jeff Goldblum, and it will be directed by J.A. Bayona.
