Jurassic World: Dominion First Reactions Are In: "A Lot of Fun," "Massive Disappointment"

We're now just a few days away before life finally finds a way as Jurassic World: Dominion roars its way to theaters and gives us the epic conclusion to the Jurassic saga as two generations of the franchise will come together and manage the world where humans and dinosaurs co-exist. A lot of fans are wondering if the film is going to be great after years in the making and now it looks like we have our first reactions.

Jurassic World: Dominion was finally screened to critics and journalists last Monday evening. While they are not allowed yet to post their reviews since they are under embargo, they were able to share their social media reactions which gave us a glimpse of their first impressions of the film. So far, it looks like the film is getting mixed responses as some said that they had fun watching it or called it a somewhat improvement from Fallen Kingdom while there are some who were disappointed and did not like the film at all.

You can check some of the first reaction tweets here:

Based on the reactions, while there were some who are disappointed by the film, there are still elements from it that receive praise such as the visual effects of the dinosaurs, the performances of the cast, and the entertainment value which is what moviegoers will mostly be looking for.

Obviously, these first reactions are subjective and you might have a different experience or reaction when you finally watch the film in a few days. It would be interesting to see what the audience score will look like and whether these mixed reactions will affect the opening weekend numbers or the box office performance overall which is what's most important for the studio.

The film's logline reads: "Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures."
