Jurassic World 3 Could Bring Back Some Familiar Faces

We already know that Jurassic World 3 is happening and is already set for a 2021 premiere but who could show up in the highly anticipated sequel? Director Colin Trevorrow may have teased on the return of some familiar faces.

Trevorrow recently joined Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard at the grand opening of Jurassic World: The Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. When Variety asked about the third film possibly being the final one, the Safety Not Guaranteed director somehow hinted at the movie going back to its roots.

"I'm kind of a one movie at a time kind of guy, so my eyes are on this one. And it's a celebration of everything that has existed in the franchise up until now," Trevorrow said.

Well, that certainly has us hoping that the old T-rex will be back in Jurassic World 3. However, that old mean dinosaur probably isn't the only one coming back in 2021. Trevorrow was also asked whether Laura Dern and Sam Neill will be returning to the franchise along with Jeff Goldblum who had a cameo in Fallen Kingdom.

"I can confirm nothing," Trevorrow said. "But nothing would make me happier than to be able to work with any of those people."

We're certainly crossing our fingers for Trevorrow on this one. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The still-untitled Jurassic World 3 is scheduled for release on June 11, 2021.
