Jujutsu Kaisen fans may still be reeling from the shocking turn of events in the manga and the anime, but they are at least spoiled with lots of exciting projects. One of these is the Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash fighting game which recently got a trailer that showed off new gameplay footage.

Bandai Namco announced Cursed Clash back in July, and the publisher just released a trailer that featured a look at the game’s 2-versus-2 gameplay.

This isn’t the first time that Jujutsu Kaisen characters leaped to video games, but it is exciting because it is the first proper PC and console game in the franchise.

Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular titles in Shonen Jump’s roster as both the manga and the anime adaptation by MAPPA are huge hits. After all, both are trending topics every week on X.

Because of its popularity, there have been several Jujutsu Kaisen game collaborations in the past years. For instance, there’s the Fortnite crossover that happened a few months ago.

Aside from collabs, fans can also look forward to two Jujutsu Kaisen games. The first is the Phantom Parade game for mobile, then there’s Cursed Clash.

Cursed Clash is perhaps the more exciting of the two for PC and console players. After all, it’s a fighting game that lets players control popular characters in the series, including the likes of Gojo and Sukuna.

Take note that this is an arena fighting game in the vein of Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles and Jump Force. This means it’ll have a 3D arena instead of more competitive 2D fighting games like Tekken.

To hype up the game, Bandai Namco shared a new trailer that shows off the game’s 2v2 action gameplay. While players will only control one character at a time, they can dynamically switch between two characters in each match.

The trailer also shows off some of the game’s playable characters, including Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, Gojo, and Sukuna. You can check out the new trailer here:

Based on the trailer, the game’s international release will feature the English dub voice cast. However, the Japanese language version will likely be included as an option as well.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Currently, there’s no word yet on a release date for the game.
