It’s hard to blame him. After all, Jujutsu Kaisen's Satoru Gojo dying at the hands of Sukuna was a horrible moment to see for any and every series fan. After all, Gojo is one of the most beloved characters in the series.

Adding to the tragedy is the fact that Gojo was killed while Sukuna was inhabiting Megumi’s body. It also doesn’t help that it looked like Gojo had the win over Sukuna in the bag before the fateful chapter.

As if to twist the knife even further, his death comes just after he finally gets out of the Prison Realm, which fans waited years to see.

It has now been some weeks since the fateful chapter, and fans still are not over it. Some are even holding out hope that Gojo will make a surprise comeback.

Readers aren’t the only ones affected though, as even fellow manga artists still need time to recover. One of these is Kenjiro Hata, who recently took a break in response.

Recently, the latest Fly Me to the Moon (or Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You) chapter was delayed because of a hiatus by Hata driven by Jujutsu Kaisen.

Because of how ridiculous it sounded, some fans thought it wasn’t real, but the latest Weekly Shonen Sunday issue confirmed this.

There, it was revealed that the Fly Me to the Moon manga will go on a hiatus for a couple of weeks to give the author time to recover from Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236.

This became a major topic of interest as many fans related to the author’s current plight.

Many find it funny how even fellow manga artists are deeply affected by what Gege Akutami pulled off.

Fly Me to the Moon will return from its hiatus in the 50th Weekly Shonen Sunday issue, which is expected to be released in late November.
