Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 178 Recap
Rika appears next to Yuta, surprising Uro and Ryu. The narration states that the Rika now acts as an external storage of cursed techniques and energy, which Orimoto Rika left for him when she was released.
When Yuta connects to this Rika via the ring, he can use cursed techniques, obtain her cursed energy, and fully manifest her. However, this only lasts for five minutes.
Uro attacks Yuta first. He uses Inumaki's cursed technique and commands Uro not to move. Rika and Yuta attack her from both sides.
Ryu joins the fight and attacks Rika, while Yuta continues to attack Uro. Ryu's attack bounces off Rika, and she punches him back. The two exchange blows, sending each other flying.
The fight excites Ryu, and he starts "craving" for more. Meanwhile, Yuta uses pieces of his hair as shikigami.
Uro says the Fujiwara clan keeps getting in her way. She wonders if the family is scared of what she could be. The narration reveals the Fujiwara clan's assassin group is the Jitsu-Getsu-Sei-Shintai unit.
They often do not have names, but someone gave Uro a name. However, it seems like she was betrayed by this person and turned into a scapegoat.
After getting attacked, Uro realizes Yuta used Dhruv's technique. It dawns on her that Yuta's cursed technique is copying.
While Yuta and Uro are fighting, he tells her he may not know what his ancestors did to her, but it's hard to live only for yourself. She gets pissed and says the only ones allowed to say those are people who already have a name for themselves.
Ryu tells her to shut up, and the three of them activate their Domain Expansion.

Uro and Ryu work together so that Rika is unable to enter their Domains. However, Rika inherited Orimoto Rika's will, so she doesn't let this pass.
Suddenly, another Kurourushi shows up. It turns out while it was hibernating, it produced an offspring, created from people's fear of cockroaches. Rika focuses on the new Kurourushi.
All the Domains collapse because of its instability and the sudden intruder. However, Yuta notices something about Uro and Kurourushi and uses this to attack her.
The chapter explains Ryu's technique, which is massive outputs of cursed energy. At this point, Uro is already tired from using too much cursed energy and loses an arm in the fight.
This time, it's time for Ryu and Yuta to battle.
