Joseon Therapist officially started working again after a tragic incident happened months ago.
K-drama fans received something to look forward to again when tvN revealed the arrival of the new drama featuring Kim Min Jae, Kim Hwang Gi, and Kim Sang Kyung. Joseon Therapist, also titled Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong, tells the story of a physician for the royal family who eventually gets involved in a conspiracy about the monarchy.
The event leads to his departure to work in Gyesu Village, where he starts training to become a doctor who treats patients’ physical and mental issues.
However, the production hit a glitch due to an accident nearly two months ago, and the drama is now trying to get back up again.

Joseon Therapist Resumes Filming After Fatal Crash
A report shared by Chosun Ilbo confirmed that the Park Won Gook-directed series started rolling the cameras again over a month after a bus accident killed one of its production directors and left three staff members gravely injured.
While it ultimately resumed its filming, the creators assure that staff members receive therapy sessions to prevent symptoms of post-traumatic stress, especially for those who were riding the bus during the crash.
Its lead cast members, Kim Hyang Gi and Kim Min Jae, both asked for public assistance to help the team members throughout the recovery period.

The actress wrote on Instagram, “A staff member from my drama set needs a blood transfusion, but there is a shortage of blood. I apologize as I feel I may be bringing my personal feelings into matters of life and death, but I would like to still ask for your help."
Meanwhile, Kim Min Jae released an update a few days later, thanking everyone who donated their blood and updating them that the transfusion was successful.
Joseon Therapist Bus Crashes to a Freight Truck
The new update came after Xportnews exclusively reported that a bus carrying the staff of the upcoming drama was hit by a freight truck from a gas station.
Ten members of the filming team were on the bus at the time of the accident, including its directors and staff members. One of the production directors died on the spot, while three others sustained severe injuries, including the bus driver. The driver of the truck did not sustain any major injury.
The K-drama announced the postponement of the filming after the incident.
“The production team was heading to the Paju Studio for the scheduled filming of the day. All filming has been halted due to the accident. We will do our best to sort out what happened with the accident. We plan to discuss any changes to the broadcast schedule with the broadcasting company,” it said.
Initial reports revealed that the truck left a gas station after refueling. However, it immediately drove through the third out of four lanes, passing through the first and second.
As a result, the bus – which was on the third lane – was cut and collided with the truck.
