Song Ji Hyo shared her thoughts on the love line she developed with Kim Jong Kook on Running Man.
Since Running Man dropped its first episode in July 2010, Song Ji Hyo became one of the ace members who caught people’s attention. After becoming a guest from episodes 2 to 6, she went on to become a permanent member.
The actress also got shipped with the other Running Man members that she was often teased with HaHa before becoming the other half of the famous Monday Couple with Gary.
Since HaHa and Gary got married (Gary has since left the show, as well), the remaining members started to tease her to Kim Jong Kook.

Song Ji Hyo Reveals Reaction to Her Love Line With Kim Jong Kook
Amid the success of Running Man, Song Ji Hyo joined her fellow cast member Ji Suk Jin in his show, MBC Every1’s Tteokbokki Brothers.
During her appearance, she talked about hating her love line with Kim Jong Kook on Running Man. She revealed that she did not like it to the point that she asked Kim Jong Kook not to do it.
“I had a love line with Gary oppa, but after he left, I suddenly had a love line with Jong Kook oppa. I couldn’t allow myself to be one [person] and have [love lines] with two men. I hated it so much. That’s why I asked [Kim Jong Kook],” she said.
However, she started to accept it when she saw people’s positive reactions to their love line.

Ji Suk Jin previously said that he would give the duo his entire estate if they got married. When asked if his statement was still valid, he immediately said no and told Song Ji Hyo that he would buy them a big TV instead.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong Kook reportedly told him not to come to their ceremony if they were to get married – although he knew it would never happen.
Song Ji Hyo Describes Her Ideal Man
During the show, Song Ji Hyo was asked whether her heart ever fluttered because of her Running Man co-star. She firmly said that it never happened and that her ideal type is the exact opposite of Kim Jong Kook.
Instead of a manly and masculine person, she purportedly wants people who look like Winnie the Pooh.
While she remains single, she clarified that she does not want to go on blind dates as she wants to know people naturally. She added that she does not want to meet men for marriage.
