Jordan Peele's New Horror Film Us Gets Ominous Poster

Jordan Peele's sophomore directorial effort is beginning to look truly chilling. The Get Out director's new film Us just got a new poster and a terrifying synopsis.

Peele shared the poster on his official Twitter account. Not surprisingly, he simply captioned the post with, "Watch yourself." Take a look at the tweet below.

The full poster also teases that the film is "coming soon."

The synopsis for Us reads as follows:

"A mother (Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o from Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 12 Years a Slave) and a father (Winston Duke from Black Panther) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends (including Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss from TV series The Handmaid's Tale). But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited."

It certainly sounds like Us is coming from the same thread as GetOut, which was a star-making vehicle for Nyong'o and Duke's Black Panther co-star Daniel Kaluuya. Considering the all-star cast and the terrifying premise, there is little doubt that Us will prove to be a worthy follow-up to Peele's directorial debut. We certainly can't wait to see what will happen in the new movie.

The film also stars Tim Heideker (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman), and Anna Diop (Titans). Jason Blum will serve as a producer under Blumhouse Productions.

Us is scheduled for release on March 15, 2019.
