Who is Joon Lee Before The Brothers Sun?
The Brothers Sun stars a couple of new faces and one of them includes Joon Lee, who plays TK on the Netflix series. But before we get into his role on the show, did you know he was firstly a TikTok comedian?
Joon Lee, who has 207.3K followers on TikTok (@joonleecomedy), has made a name for himself for his content postings ranging from his Types of series up to making Church Memes and God Making... videos.
He also happens to hold a podcast series titled UNWIN(e)D alongside his friend, Glen Kwon (@glenkwon9256), where both of them share their thoughts on various topics while unwinding with a glass of wine together.
In the span of Joon Lee's career, he also managed to make short on-screen debuts such as playing Kevin Kim on To All the Kevins back in 2020 and another time in Neh by 2021.
The Brothers Sun marks his first actual small-screen gig since he's playing a recurring character as a part of the main cast on the recently released Netflix series.

Comedian Joon Lee Jumps From TikTok to Netflix

Ahead of the series release, he even confirmed that The Brothers Sun is his first TV show as being a part of the main cast while being in a recurring role:
So, Who is TK in The Brothers Sun?
The most that viewers have to know about TK is that he is Bruce's (Sam Song Li) childhood friend who is his complete opposite. While Bruce tends to be more of a nice and honest guy, TK does things differently living in LA.
Considering Bruce was short on money to pay for his schooling, and knowing that his mom (Michelle Yeoh) is 'cheap', TK is the first guy to pop into his head whom he can ask for help.
But of course, TK's solution to helping Bruce is to have him sell drugs. While TK's way is a bad influence, he does mean well to help his friend out.
Meanwhile, the official synopsis for The Brothers Sun reads:
When the head of a powerful Taiwanese triad is shot by a mysterious assassin, his eldest son, Charles (Justin Chien) heads to Los Angeles to protect his mother, Eileen (Michelle Yeoh), and his naive younger brother, Bruce (Sam Song Li) — who's been completely sheltered from the truth of his family until now.
But as Taipei's deadliest societies and a new rising faction go head-to-head for dominance — Charles and Bruce must figure out what brotherhood and family truly means before someone takes them out.
