There sure is a lot of great Marvel news today. Disney and Sony just recently released a statement announcing that they had finally sorted out their Spider-Man agreement, bringing back Tom Holland's wallcrawler into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Now, news is out that Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home director Jon Watts is going to return for the third Spider-Man movie that Marvel's out to develop now that Disney and Sony's deal is back on.
According to a report by Deadline, Watts is officially set to return to direct Marvel's third Spider-Man movie. The director's involvement in the MCU was up in the air after negotiations between Disney and Sony fell through last month, however, it seems like the studios have finally been able to get their act together.
What's even better is that the studios have also been able to arrange the next Spider-Man movie, nabbing Watts to direct the film and then setting a release date for the project.
